When my friend Dave's birthday drew near, I wanted to make something for him instead of just buying a gift. I knew we shared a love of Mega Man, so I thought I would try my hand at drawing the "blue bomber," and slightly stylized. It also helped that I was playing with a Intuos tablet and SketchBook Pro, so I wanted a little more practice. Back then, I wanted to do a series of different game characters with this look. Maybe I'll revisit this style one day...
